Solemn Procession 2012

It was my first time to witness the solemn procession Sto.nino and we are also required in our NSTP to be a crowd control during the procession. Actually all freshmen in college who have class in NSTP are obliged to this. At first, you may think it's hard but I'm excited how would it be look like during the procession. I did not expect that all jeepney routes were changed because some roads are close due to the procession so you really have to walk to your assigned place which is in Jones near the PLDT building, street foods are here and there, vendors are selling hats, fans and many others it was really like the start of the Sinulog festival. You could really see that a lot of Cebuanos are devotees to our dear Sto. Nino. When you see the image of Santo Nino, you could really not describe how you feel. People from different walks of life joined this annual solemn procession just for the senyor because many people believed that He is really miraculous and he protects the Cebu and the Cebuanos from all the calaminities. During the procession, the devotees are also bringing along with them their own Sto. Nino and it is really unexplainable on how you could feel and see the Cebuanos and other people from other place have a great faith to Him. they waved their hands and sing the Bato Balani as they saw the Sto. Nino image.

After the procession, we went to Ayala by means of walking from Fuente up to there. There was a mall show from ABS- CBN artists like Gerald Anderson, Enchong Dee, Banana Split casts and many others. It was a great day! : ) Viva Pit Senyor Cebuanos! : )
