Chocolate Therapy

1st semester is finally over, most of the students are really excited to spend their semestral break but for me I have to continue working on some important matters but I couldn’t let this pass, I also need to find time to unwind, my OJT just ended and I have to prepare myself back to classroom set-up, more thesis and research papers to come. Well, if you observe in my latest posts on Instagram, it’s all about food. I just can’t resist rewarding myself and eating to fancy food places. One of the best places that you should visit and hang out with your friends this sembreak is TCC or better known as The Chocolate Chamber. Feel free to visit this very classy and nice place. Their chocolate is really made from our very own local cacao and they have this nice set – up and relaxing place with a touch of a European style. I was really amazed with their interior. It is really one of a kind chocolate experience. As we all know, a bite of chocolate can help us distress.

TCC Address: President Quirino Street Corner Magsaysay Street Barangay Kasambagan Cebu City, Cebu Philippines 6000
Operating Hours: Mondays-Saturdays 9:00AM – 9:00PM, Sundays 10:00am-7:00PM

Ice Cream Madness

When I am really stressed from work, one of my favourite things to do is to look for some desserts that could really act as my anti-stress medicine. I am happy that Texas Creamery has recently opened a kiosk on the 2nd floor of SM Northwing near Our Home shop. Texas Creamery exclusively serves Blue Bell Ice Cream, and their flavours are just to die for: Bubble Gum and Red Velvet flavours are at the top of my list and they just offered new flavours like Sea Salt Caramel, Strawberry Cheesecake, Coffee Toffee Crunch, Pistachio Almond and many many more. Aside from ice cream, they also serve frozen snacks with their all new Blue Bell sandwhich ice cream which has different flavours as well. So if you want a share in my de-stress medicine, make sure to try one now with your family and friends, a good way to spend the long weekend.

Have a fun long weekend everyone! :)

IMAGE General Assemly

All marketing students gathered for the annual IMAGE General Assembly. It's overwhelming that we're continuously growing when it comes to our population. We felt so old (the seniors) seeing the freshmen who are now new members of our family. Time flies so fast that we can still remember our 1st year general assembly...when we were the freshmen.

It is good to see and be a part of the improvements and the progress of IMAGE club. This club molded me and helped me become who I am today. It opened so many opportunities for me to know what really marketing is and how does marketing work in the real world, making it now my new found passion. Now it has become a big challenge for us, the new set of IMAGE officers for 2014 - 2015, to continue the legacy that this club has built since its founding.

Continuing its legacy of leading and building student conventions, it is still quite a challenge but nonetheless fulfilling because that's what marketing is all about. So you guys better watch out for the upcoming Student Marketing Conference this coming September 26-27, 2014 at JCenter Mall, meet and greet fellow marketers to learn and enhance your knowledge in marketing.

Meet and Greet

One of the events in connection with the celebration of Cebu Business Month was held at The Outlets in Pueblo Verde, “Cebu in the Bag: Celebrity and Blogger Food and Fashion Bazaar”. There were meet and greet with popular fashion bloggers from Cebu and Manila like Kryz Uy, Camille Co, Lissa Kahayon and David Guison. When I heard about this, I just couldn't hide my excitement for this event because my favourite bloggers were here in town and some of my friends were also part of the fashion and food bazaar, which I went to show support as a good friend.

I admit to being such a fan girl when it comes to meeting these fashion bloggers. I was so happy that I got the chance to talk to them. They were all so friendly and nice. Aside from looking for some good finds from the fashion bazaars, I just can't stop myself from trying the different food bazaars like Sir Chief's Corner who came all the way from San Carlos City, Negros to give us a scrumptious taste of their burger, which I give 5 stars and thumbs up. Indeed, it was a day well spent for food and fashion.

Back to School

Hello to my senior year in college!

June is finally here and we are officially going back to school. I know we all have a hard time saying goodbye to summer but we have to face the reality. Everyday, facing our books, doing our research works, studying for major exams and wearing our uniforms. But for me, I am now looking into corporate attires since my first semester, I will be having my practicum as an On The Job Trainee. Yes! This will be exciting at the same time nerve racking since I will be working (at least trainee-ish) in the corporate world. Learning how to wear the appropriate attire is a must. Having our Corporate Wednesdays in school really helps us to dress well, it is already easy for us to mix and match our business attire, not to mention getting compliments from people who would call us young professionals.

Summer Treat

Summer break is about to end, and so far this has been a very productive summer for me, which means I also deserve a break in between of my busy schedules. Who doesn't love the beach during this very hot season? Like, it is so hot in the city that sometimes you end up sweating all day. So I grabbed this opportunity to go on a trip round south and it really made me appreciate more the beauty of nature, a perfect time for me to relax and unwind, even just for a moment with mother nature.
