First Dip of Summer

Finally the season we’ve all been waiting for, Hello Summer 2014!

I could say that I started my summer right with my blockmates. We were all excited for this adventure and to feel the heat of the summer sun. This outing was also a reward for ourselves after all the sleepless nights doing paper works and the different oral defense we had in our major subjects.

Wohooo! Cheers to Block B! These people are not just merely my classmates but they are all my brothers and sisters from different mothers. We are just more than a block, we are a family!

ABS-CBN Studio Tour

This maybe a late post but I just have to because the memories are still fresh in my mind, like it was yesterday. Last February, we had a trip to Manila for our Advertising class and our main itinerary was to go and watch Showtime Live! in the ABS-CBN Studio (this is my 2nd time to watch the show live but this time with my block mates). Everyone in our block was so excited for this trip because this was our first school-ish trip outside Cebu, and the best part of it is? We were all by ourselves. Straight from the airport, we headed immediately to ABS – CBN Studio for our studio tour and for Showtime. It was nice being back in the studios and we were amazed that these studios were really small compared to when you watch it on TV, it’s twice the size on screen only because their cameras are fitted with wide angled lens. Isn’t it amazing?

We had so much fun, especially because I won in the raffle segment! (they'll actually just give you play money during on air but you'll get your real cash after the show). I never expected to have at least a small amount of exposure nationwide (and worldwide if you have TFC). It was indeed a memorable experience that even one of my block mate Vhal was chosen as one of the contestant “artista” in their Sine Mo’ To segment. Needless to say, we really enjoyed the show to the extent that we went crazy and wild in the studio, it’s no wonder why the cameras kept focusing on us.

And to add to my list of unforgettable moments, I was able to make beso-beso (kiss in cheeks) with Anne Curtis, when she gave me my cash prize! Well not everyone can have that chance. ( HAHA just saying! Going fan mode over here!)
